- Por Ruta Provincial Nº 20 a 15 km del Centro de la Ciudad Capital de San Luis, se encuentra el paraje denominado Cruz de Piedra, que cuenta con un embalse que lleva el mismo nombre, una cancha de golf, clubes, y hoteles.

El embalse emplazado a pocos metros de la ruta prov. Nº 20 recibe las aguas del río Cuchi Corral y el arroyo Los Puquios.

- El Dique Cruz de Piedra es otra de las imponentes construcciones hídricas realizada en la década del '50 con un murallón de fuerte contextura de cemento y que en alguna oportunidad contuviera una Usina hidroeléctrica que alimentaba la Ciudad de San Luis, especialmente cuando entraban en emergencia otros sistemas.
El Dique tenía poca capacidad y la Central pronto quedó en desuso.
