Es imperdonable vacacionar en Merlo y no conocer el Salto de San Ignacio, éste debe ser uno de los atractivos turísticos de San Luis con menor difusión pero que deja en nuestra memoria muchas sensaciones.
Queda aproximadamente 35 km de Merlo, por la ruta Provincial Nº 1.
Dejando atrás el pueblo de Villa Larca, y a un costado el balneario, estacionamos nuestro vehículo en una playa y decidimos ir en busca del tan preciado salto, al que los lugareños le llaman el "chorro de San Ignacio".

He is unforgivable to vacacionar in Mer it and not to know Salto San Ignacio, this one must be one of attractive the tourist ones of San Luis with smaller diffusion but than it leaves in our memory many sensations. It is left approximately 35 km of Mer it, by the Provincial route Nº 1. - Siguiendo la senda peatonal, a 200 mts. se encuentra la Laguna del Deseo, y a 250 mts. de ésta llegamos a la Casa del Indio, excavación natural dentro de una gran roca donde se hallan restos de quien presumiblemente sería un indio comechingón.
